Jacinta Escudos

Jacinta Escudos is a Salvadorian author of novels, stories and poems. After her involvement in the resistance movement in El Salvador, she spent much of her early life in exile. English translations of her poems and stories are available in anthologies and literary magazines.

Translator Samantha Memi lives in London. She is the author of Kate Moss & Other Heroines. Her translations of Alejandra Pizarnik, Giovanna Benedetti and Jacinta Escudos have appeared in Extract(s), Danse Macabre and The Adirondack Review.
