Maceo Whitaker

Maceo J. Whitaker read Lucille Clifton's "jasper texas 1998" as an undergrad. The poem changed his life. Ever since, he has tried to write poems. Now he roams the streets of Beacon, NY, where he spits poems at Two Way, Draught, Harry's, and CAPS. He dedicates "Bloopers" to another one of his favorite poets, James Tate.
