Shannon Burns

Shannon Burns is an Australian writer, critic and sometimes-academic. He is a member of the J.M. Coetzee Centre for Creative Practice, and has written for Australian Book Review, Sydney Review of Books and Music & Literature. He was awarded the 2009 Adelaide Review Prize for Short Fiction and the 2015 Salisbury Writers’ Festival Short Story Prize. His fiction has been published in various magazines and journals, most in recently Overland, Verity La, Tincture, Mascara Literary Review and Gargouille.
